<p>Snap the tough ends off of the asparagus. Place flat in a roast pan. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Pour the <a href="http://coeurdolives.com/infused-dipping-oil/#garlicinfusedoliveoil">garlic oil</a> over the asparagus and slide back and forth in the pan to ensure complete coverage. <p>Place carrots in a large saute pan and cover with an inch of water. Cover and let simmer until carrots are tender. Drain off excess liquid and return to pan. Add butter and maple syrup and stirring constantly until butter melts and carrots are well coated. Sprinkle to taste with the spice rub.</p>

<p>Steam brussels sprouts until they are tender and bright green. Slice in half and set aside. Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium high heat. Add capers and chili flakes and stir continuously until the capers start to open and are brown and crisp. Add the brussels sprouts to coat in the oil and caper mixture. Transfer to serving dish.</p>
